David Montgomery is general practice partner in the Redhill office.  David trained with a small West End office practice, qualifying in 1979.  From 1983 he spent 17 years with a Croydon office of a mid-tier firm, 14 as a partner, before joining Kingston Smith in November 2000.

He has substantial experience advising small and medium sized owner managed businesses in various industries on a wide range of financial and strategic issues.  Although most of his clients are commercial organisations, David has considerable experience advising charities, property companies and solicitor practices.  David is an active member of the firm's Property sector group

David is a trustee of a small charitable trust and is treasurer of Cadia, a networking and lobbying organisation serving the business community of Sussex and Surrey.
