With Kingston Smith LLP your training is as individual as you are - we recognise that each of our trainees has something different to offer and that each one needs personal support and encouragement throughout his or her training.
Our AAT training programme encompasses four main areas:
In-house Training
At Kingston Smith LLP, we have our own Training Group to provide a practical programme of student and post-qualification courses for both Partners and employees.
Professional Studies
At Kingston Smith LLP we use a leading firm of accountancy tutors to help you to prepare for your examinations.
Practical Training
We aim to expose you to a wide range of clients both in terms of size and business type, as we believe that a good Accounting Technician must have a widely-developed range of business skills which can only be acquired through varied work experience.
Opportunities after you become AAT qualified
After qualification, you may be given the option to study the ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification. We also offer the fast-track option to study towards the ACA qualification. With the continuing growth of the firm means that there are opportunities for rapid career progression and promotion if you can offer the commitment and dedication that we look for. Promotion is based purely on merit. You may decide to stay in general practice or you may choose to specialise after qualification in areas such as Taxation, Corporate Finance, Litigation Support or Corporate Recovery. Once you have qualified we recognise the need for you to continue your training and will keep your updated on technical changes within the profession; this is provided through our in-house training programme.
