Insolvency partner shortlisted as finalists for categories in the Insolvency & Rescue Awards 2011

Kingston Smith & Partners LLP is happy to announce that Ian Defty has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Insolvency Practitioner of the Year – Corporate award at the Insolvency & Rescue Awards 2011

Across the last year Ian has worked tirelessly dealing with complex litigation as liquidator to recover funds misappropriated by directors, advisors and other individuals as the result of fraud and misconduct. His expertise pursuing insolvency related claims in liquidations, many on a conditional fee basis, both in the UK and off-shore, has resulted in increased returns to creditors. He has done this whilst maintaining an increasingly large practice dealing with day to day liquidations and administrations.

Kingston Smith & Partners LLP also have a secondary finalist: James Dowers has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Insolvency Manager of the Year at the Insolvency & Rescue Awards 2011.
