Matthew joined Kingston Smith as a trainee in 1998 and after qualifying moved into the Corporate Finance department where he specialises in both public and private company transaction support. He has a wealth of experience of reporting accountant assignments on the AIM and Plus Markets, a sector in which Kingston Smith has gained a reputation as one of the leading accountants.

Matthew is also a Director of Devonshire Corporate Finance Limited, Kingston Smith's specialist corporate finance advisory company, where he acts as lead advisor on acquisitions, disposals and fundraising. He focuses on providing proactive support and advice to clients to help deliver their objectives.

He has a keen interest in international transactions and has first hand experience of Far Eastern projects.
