The Agency Workers Regulations come into force from 1 October 2011. If you use agency workers in your organisation, the Regulations may change the way in which you engage with agencies and your temporary staff.

This interactive presentation explained who is covered by the legislation; explored the implications for organisations and individuals operating through agencies; and discussed the need for employers to put in place adequate procedures to minimise the risk of anti avoidance fines or claims for unfair treatment under these new Regulations. We also discussed the different options that employers have in engaging with short term employees, contractors and freelancers in this increasingly regulated environment.
