Ian joined Kingston Smith in September 2002 as a trainee. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 2005, and became a partner in 2010. He has worked in the marketing services and media sectors for ten years. In 2012 Ian was named as one of Accountancy Age’s top 35 accountants under the age of 35.
Ian has experience of looking after clients ranging in size from start ups and sole traders to multinational private and listed groups. As well as audit, tax and accounts Ian regularly advises on other ad-hoc business issues that affect businesses in the creative sectors such as employee incentives, valuations, financial due diligence and tax planning. Ian is treasurer of the Branded Content Marketing Association and co-edits our flagship "Financial Performance of Marketing Services Companies" survey that looks at the results of the top UK companies in each of the marketing services disciplines and our Marketing Monitor magazine.
