Tessa joined Kingston Smith in May 2007 as Senior Technical Manager and became a Partner in May 2010. Tessa has responsibility for advising Kingston Smith’s staff and clients on technical accounting issues and providing internal guidance on technical matters, with particular focus on International Financial Reporting Standards, their implementation and the accounting issues they cause. She also provides advice and guidance on the application of UK accounting standards and auditing standards and methodology.

She is responsible for delivering training on financial reporting and auditing, including IFRS, within the firm and, where requested, to firms within KS International and to clients. She has also advised clients on the specific implications for their businesses of adopting IFRS and the issues that they are likely to face as a result. She has a wide variety of experience advising businesses in a variety of industries and from small owner managed businesses to AIM and PLUS companies.

Outside the Firm, Tessa has a keen interest in training matters and currently chairs the London Accountants Training Discussion Group.
