Training course: Digital for fundraising leaders

Start date: June 27, 2019 9.00am registration for a 9.30am start. Ends 4.30pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided

As a fundraising leader, are you witnessing a shift in individual giving from direct mail and direct debit transactions to more ad hoc donations, value exchanges, relationships and communities? Has the growth in person-to-person crowdfunding impacted your strategies for reaching out to new donors? Do you wrestle with the ethical issues of emerging technologies or the misuse of data by social media platforms?

Kingston Smith Fundraising & Management (KSFM) is teaming up with Zoe Amar, a digital specialist who helps organisations develop their digital strategy, social media and online skills, to bring you this one-day course to help you enhance your digital marketing strategy and planning.

After the course, you will be able to:

  • persuade and influence with authority when discussing digital issues with colleagues
  • make informed choices about digital initiatives
  • plan for how digital trends will affect your fundraising and charity business models
  • create a digital action plan to help you in your work

This is an intermediate course for fundraising leaders who have responsibility for applying digital change in their charity’s fundraising, so you are probably already using digital channels in your charity. Course content combines interactive exercises and trainer-led facilitation.

Delegates will be invited to join the KSFM Alumni network on completing the course. This will provide you with access to an ‘action learning set’ model of learning, unique online content and special events to meet up with fellow course attendees and sector leaders.

Cost: £210 Inc. VAT
