Kingston Smith sponsors London NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards

Kingston Smith, the top twenty firm of accountants and business advisers, is sponsoring this year’s London NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Award ceremony.

Kingston Smith has signed up to its fourth year of sponsorship for the Awards, and will this year be supporting the London award event, which is being held on November 21st at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

Now in its fifth year, the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards has celebrated some outstanding entrepreneurs who have gone on to become household names. Previous winners include David Buttress – former CEO of Just Eat, Julie Deane – Founder of The Cambridge Satchel Company, James Watt – Founder of BrewDog and Alexander Solomou – Founder and CEO of TheLADBible Group.

Jon Dawson, partner at Kingston Smith and a judge at this year’s Awards, said: “We’re delighted to sponsor the Great British Entrepreneur Awards again this year. The Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise the hard work and innovative feats of British entrepreneurs.

“As chartered accountants and advisers to entrepreneurial businesses, we work closely with them to understand their ambitions and how we can help them to fulfil their potential. Many owner-managed businesses overcome significant challenges on their path to success and the Awards shine a spotlight on these inspiring stories. We are very proud to support them.”

Creator of the Awards, Francesca Russell, said: “We are thrilled that such a prestigious company as Kingston Smith has agreed to sponsor the Awards again this year. We think this demonstrates how well-respected the NatWest Great British Awards are by businesses.

“The feedback from our sponsors is that the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards offer something different; we champion the stories behind small businesses, rather than concentrating solely on the profit and loss. Obviously the balance sheet is important but we love to celebrate some of the country’s most impressive entrepreneurs and what motivates them to go it alone.”

2017 is also the first year that the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards will be held across five UK cities, including London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.

The NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards is open for applications and will celebrate entrepreneurship across a number of categories including Innovation, High Street, Start-Up and Creative Industries. You can enter here: www.greatbritishentrepreneurawards.com.
