Mergers and acquisitions in the marketing and media sectors have shown resilience in the face of Brexit-induced uncertainty, with Q3 recording strong activity levels for Kingston Smith’s Marketing & Media Deal Tracker. 70 deals took place, up from 60 in Q2 and keeping pace with Q1’s 73.
Digital businesses remain the most sought-after in the marketing services sector, accounting for nearly half of deals in this area. Media-tech continues to gain pace, accounting for almost a quarter of all deals.
