St Albans Summer Party – A night in the museum

Following a two-year restoration of the city’s Georgian Town Hall, the £7.75 million Museum and Gallery opened to the public in June 2018.

Kingston Smith were privileged enough to be one of the first to hold their Summer Party in early July at this glorious venue in the magnificent Assembly Room.

Originally used for balls, galas and concerts, the Assembly Room has been fully restored to its former glory. Our guests were able to admire the stunning Georgian architectural flourishes, ornate chandeliers and lustrous gold leaf as well as having an opportunity to view the new exhibits.

Over 170 guests enjoyed a Summer’s evening of music from the string quartet Oceano Strings with cocktails by the Liquid Chefs and canapés from Leafi.
