Adrian is known for his friendly, efficient and methodical approach to his work and, because he is always 100% focused on each particular problem that needs solving, can often devise a solution that may not be routine or obvious.

Adrian has in-depth knowledge of VAT and indirect tax, built up over many years of working with clients first and foremost, as well as being a member of various committees at the ICAEW and beyond. He works with a strong, committed team of VAT specialists, often liaising with tax colleagues to offer a bespoke, comprehensive solution to all clients.

VAT impacts all types and size of business and Adrian advises across the board, from sports players and clubs, to sole traders as well as large national and international companies. He works with companies in a variety of sectors but predominantly spends his time with property, construction and not for profit clients. He also acts as an adviser to other professional firms, both lawyers and accountants, that do not have their own in-house VAT experts.

Adrian is also a Chartered Arbitrator and uses his well-honed skills to be able to analyse a dispute, resolving it quickly and efficiently, which is extremely useful for any clients involved in VAT disputes with HMRC

In his spare time, Adrian spends time with his family and loves his sport, particularly rugby and Formula One. He is also active in his City of London livery company, where he sits on the finance and wine committees.
