Paul’s extensive understanding of the Spanish and Latin American market place him perfectly to advise businesses on cross border transactions and the challenges faced when opening abroad. He founded the firm’s Spain and Latin American group over five years ago with a view to maximising opportunities with increasingly active Spanish export companies, as well as exploring the upturn in interest being expressed in inward and outward investment in Latin America.
With his background in advising businesses and entrepreneurs on taxes and due to the international nature of his work, Paul has a diverse client base ranging from the UK contractor market for professional services, to multinational corporates in the financial services and renewable energy sectors.
Paul was featured in Tax Journal’s 40 Under 40 for 2012/13 guide, which recognises him as one of the best young professionals working in tax today. He also demonstrates a keen interest in accounting for social projects, and has worked with his local and international colleagues to push the internationalisation of Social Return on Investment (SROI).
Paul is a director of the British and Colombian Chamber of Commerce as well as an active supporter of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, and regularly attends and speaks at events in relation to inward investment into the UK.
Outside the office, Paul is a keen sportsman and his interests include travel and flying.
