Peter’s 19 years of experience and his passion for the media sector have given him a deep understanding of how media and entertainment companies work, specifically in terms of TV and film, creative and media technology. He has worked with creative companies of all sizes, from start-ups to listed companies with international interests, through all stages of their lifecycle.

Peter is dedicated to supporting his clients through the challenges that come with owning their own business – one of which is getting incredibly creative people to understand the financial aspects of running a company. He prefers working closely with his clients, guiding them through regulatory complexities and advising SMEs on key aspects such as financial reporting, compliance and strategy. He also enjoys pro-actively supporting his clients as they develop into new international markets.

Peter joined Kingston Smith in May 2014, prior to which he spent 12 years at a top 5 firm providing strategic and commercial advice, audit, accounting and financial reporting services to businesses in the creative sector, as well as the leisure and technology sectors.

He has been a committee member of the ICAEW entertainment and media group for seven years and is Treasurer of the Direct Marketing Association and Chair of the remuneration committee.

Peter is a keen sportsman who plays football, tennis and golf and has two marathons and several half marathons under his belt.
