Training

KSFM runs a popular Charity Strategy Training Programme. Our bespoke modules are created specifically to equip the modern charity professional or trustee with an up-to-date and rigorous appraisal of relevant subject areas, within a rapidly changing and unpredictable environment. These sessions are hosted by experts with a wealth of experience in the voluntary sector.

Following the re-launch of our KSFM Charity Strategy Training Programme in the summer, we’re pleased to announce dates for autumn 2017. Aimed at fundraisers, executive staff and trustees, these modules will help keep you up-to-date with strategic fundraising and management issues.

Each module costs £175 + VAT, and includes lunch, training materials and exclusive post-module networking with KSFM alumni. A place on all four courses can be booked for £600 + VAT, saving you £100.

Places will be strictly limited to create optimum learning. Please book your place early to avoid disappointment.

Fundraising Regulation and GDPR – 2 November 2017 (West End)
Everything you need to know about GDPR, FPS, CC20 and how to make the most of recent changes to improve your fundraising practice.

Finance for Fundraisers – 9 November 2017 (City)
Basic accounting for fundraisers with a non-financial background. Learn how to read a balance sheet, improve budgets and approach high-value funders effectively.

Tricky Capital Campaigns – 27 November 2017 (City)
What do you do if your campaign doesn’t go to plan? This practical course will help you trouble-shoot problems, and plan your way out of them in the first place.

Impact Management – 29 November 2017 (West End)
An introduction to measuring, articulating and managing the impact your charity makes, to help you attract more funders and focus on your charity’s most impactful activity.

Bespoke Training Courses

If more than eight people on your team need training, our bespoke in-house training is an excellent alternative to the public courses. Existing course material will be adapted with examples, case studies and exercises tailored specifically to your charity.

Facilitation

Our experienced consultants can facilitate your Board/staff away days or planning sessions. We take an objective view, ask difficult questions and present new ideas as a prelude to change. We help staff and Boards to review their vision, mission and values to achieve consensus on the way forward together.
